Protecting Your Website as Intellectual Property

March 01, 2009, 10:33am

I have had the good fortune to get to be involved with a gentleman by the name of Thomas Joseph who works for Price and Adams, a firm which specializes in patent law.  A little while ago, we met to discuss our respective lines of work, and he was gracious enough to provide me with a document (and reproduction rights) which will hopefully prove to be most useful to those of us who own websites and are prudent enough to follow its guidelines.

Many thanks to Mr. Joseph for providing this excellent piece of information!

Listening to the Client

February 22, 2009, 8:29pm

Do you feel like the representatives who provide your business services listen to you?  The experts at Miller Heiman say it should be an agent’s top priority when it comes to reaching your potential.

“The first step to increasing your effectiveness in prospecting is to learn to view sales opportunities from your customer’s perspective. Knowing what your product can do for them, or how it will save them money is not quite the same as understanding their critical business issues-what they are looking to accomplish, fix or avoid.

“When you take the time to understand the root of the problems your prospect is looking to solve, you are in a better position to create solutions for solving those problems. The key is to act as a true business consultant as opposed to a transactional vendor.”

As the Operating Partner for Innovative Collaboration, I feel that it’s crucial that our customers be able to express to us exactly what it is that they need.  We make it our top priority to understand you and your business, because otherwise we can’t provide the top quality productions we offer.

Our representatives will listen to your needs, and design solutions which are right for you.  It’s one of the reasons why our client retention is in the high nineties, and satisfied customers of ours continually refer our business.

Do you feel listened to?  Are your business tools actually custom-fitted solutions, or just packages that other companies want you to conform to?  Give us a call, and let us help you find tools that are right for you.
